Letter from the President

Welcome!

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Lambda Delta Chapter’s website. I hope by taking a look around the website you will be able to find more on all aspects of our wonderful international fraternity such as our history, values, philanthropy, and accomplishments.

The Lambda Delta chapter was established at Dalton State College in the spring of 2014. As the first sorority on campus, we were dedicated to setting a firm foundation for Greek life and still continue to work towards bettering our Greek community. In the years since out establishment, our members have been devoted to upholding the values of Alpha Omicron Pi. They exemplify character, dignity, scholarship, and college loyalty.

The sisters of the Lambda Delta chapter continue to make an impact on campus by challenging themselves and by holding themselves to a high standard while exceeding the expectations set before them. They are an inspiring group of ladies who are driven by a passion to make our campus and community a better place. Our international sorority has recognized our chapter through various awards. We have been awarded Excellence in Membership Recruitment and Outstanding Leaders Council twice. In addition to those awards, we have been honorably mentioned for Excellence in Philanthropy! We are so thankful that our members want to see our chapter thrive and continue to put their best foot forward in this area.

Through our accomplishments, the sisters of the Lambda Delta chapter strive to inspire ambition not only within our own chapter but also within the Greek community, throughout the Dalton State Campus, and our extensive community. We would love to talk with you about our fraternity and the values and love which make our sisterhood special. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at aoiilambdadelta@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing you on campus and being able to share what our sisterhood is about!

Best,

Savannah B. Hunter
